Hilda qualified as a medical doctor in 2004 from the University of KwaZulu Natal. She worked previously for the Department of Health as a medical officer serving rural communities, and worked as a Research Clinician in HIV research prior to establishing a medical practice in Durban North. She is currently awaiting a research paper publication to complete her master’s degree in Family Medicine with the University of KwaZulu Natal. She works part time at the McCords Medical Centre and Kings Park Sports Medicine Centre. She has extensive experience in HIV medicine and primary health care. She practices medicine with a balanced patient centred approach and encourages a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. She has special interests in women and children, sexual health, care of the elderly and HIV medicine. Medical care is provided for acute and chronic medical conditions. Standard medical aid rates are charged for most medical aids.
